We are looking for an immediate long-term contract opening for a Cargo Warehouse Supervisor in Atlanta, GA for our client in a Cargo facility.

We are looking for ambitious & detail-oriented individuals to perform fast-paced warehouse cargo work, under supervision.

Responsibilities :

Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment

Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees

Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner

Physical checks upon acceptance ·

Load and unload cargo on and off trucks

Performs duties in the warehouse based on the needs of the client you are assigned

Operate Forklift

Breakdown and Buildup of Pallets

Handles Special Cargo

Communicate effectively with all teammates and other runway personnel

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Frequently moves cargo in the warehouse weighing up to 50 pounds.

Needs to occasionally move about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments and airwaybills.

Work Environment :

Sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures.

Occasionally work in extremely bright or dim lighting conditions.

Workspaces may not be temperature-controlled.

Work near / share same workspace with others.

Often work indoors but may sometimes work outdoors.

Requirements :

Education : GED / High School desired Experience

Shift hours :

Operation-Monday to Saturday 8 am to 8 pm

Need to be flexible working different shifts
